October 10 @ 12:30 - 14:00
FREEWe are excited to welcome guest speakers Shenae Lodge and Susan Hughes from the Peel ADHD Support Group. They will deliver an insightful presentation focused on understanding the challenges and obstacles faced by individuals with ADHD. Whether you have a diagnosis or are simply interested in learning more about ADHD, this presentation will offer valuable information and perspectives.
Peel ADHD Parent Support is a volunteer community group established in September 2019 by Shenae Lodge and Susan Hughes, two mothers raising children with ADHD. Shenae and Susan know how isolating, challenging, and overwhelming parenting children with ADHD can be. Their vision is to connect parents and carers with support, resources, and information for raising children with ADHD.
The mission of Peel ADHD Parent Support is to provide access to support, training workshops, information & other opportunities to connect with fellow parents on a similar journey. They run regular parent sessions at the Lakelands Library that are accessible both in person and online.
Peel ADHD Parent Support was the 2021 Winners of the New & Emerging Category Connect Groups Peer Support Group.
