World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Afternoon Tea – Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre

June 10 @ 13:00 - 14:30

Event Cost FREE

Join us for a special afternoon tea as we mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day with the Purple Road Project—a heartfelt display of crocheted and knitted flowers created by the talented Knitwits.

Each flower represents a person affected by elder abuse, raising awareness of this important issue.

You can also take part by creating a felt flower to add to the display, showing your support and helping to spread the message of respect and dignity for older people.

This event is a chance to come together, connect with others, and learn more about elder abuse prevention. Enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Help us raise awareness and stand against elder abuse—one flower at a time.
