The Livelighter World Music 2025 concert series showcases a diversity of high-quality music and dance from around the globe at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. Enjoy these free Sunday afternoon sojourns featuring some of our top multicultural talent.
Tchega play creole folk from the Indian Ocean Island region of Mauritius, Réunion and Seychelles. The culture blends many ethnic, linguistic, and cultural influences including African, French, Indian, and Asian. Led by Carole Katz, a singer and dancer, Tchega have a beautiful stage presence and relaxed energy, with a flowing island groove. Expect a bit of sega, seggae, maloya, Afro-pop, and folk with an exciting Tchega twist.
